Who We Are
Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing adaptive sports and therapeutic outdoor recreation for people with disabilities. Alongside the professional year-round and seasonal staff, the organization brings in more than 200 passionate volunteers to assist with 3,420 annual summer and winter lessons and adaptive programs.
An initiative of DSES, the Jack & Kathy Copeland Center at Fern Creek Lodge will provide programming to empower wounded, ill, and injured servicemen and women by facilitating their transition into fulfilling civilian lives through education, health, and wellness.
The facility offers service members what they need to:
- LEARN a new vocation
- HEAL physical and psychological wounds
- THRIVE in their new lives!
